About Me

Since qualifying in 2011 I have worked successfully with a wide range of clients and issues and have experience in counselling teenagers as well as adults.

The majority of my work is in my private practice at home but I also work as a counsellor in a women’s refuge and I have seven years experience working with teenagers as a School Counsellor.

With a Masters Degree in Person-Centred Counselling, I am a registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and practice within their Code of Ethics. For more information about ethics or counselling generally please visit www.bacp.org.uk.

I have had thousands of hours of client contact and this work has addressed a wide variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-harm, relationship problems, loss, grief and bereavement, low self-confidence and esteem, abuse, addiction, trauma, gender identity and sexuality, work difficulties, bullying, parenting, family issues, illness and disability.

I am open to being approached with any issue that you have and aim to help you with my understanding and empathy. If I am unable to help we will discuss an onward referral.
